By Ben McBean
In 2007, Ben McBean published The Sharp End, a collection of true stories of life and death in the Royal Marines. The book was a bestseller, and it was praised for its honesty, its humor, and its insights into the human condition.
Now, McBean is back with More Stories From The Sharp End, a new collection of stories that are just as gripping, just as funny, and just as thought-provoking as the ones in his first book.
The stories in More Stories From The Sharp End cover a wide range of topics, from the horrors of war to the camaraderie of the Marines. There are stories of heroism and courage, stories of sacrifice and loss, and stories of hope and redemption.
One of the most powerful stories in the book is "The Man Who Saved My Life." In this story, McBean recounts how he was rescued from a burning building by a fellow Marine. McBean was badly injured, and he was sure that he was going to die. But his rescuer refused to give up on him, and he carried McBean to safety.
The Man Who Saved My Life is a story of hope and redemption. It is a story about the power of one person to make a difference in the life of another. It is a story that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
More Stories From The Sharp End is a must-read for anyone who is interested in the Royal Marines, in war, or in the human condition. It is a book that will make you laugh, it will make you cry, and it will make you think.

Author's Note
I wrote More Stories From The Sharp End because I wanted to share the stories of the men and women who serve in the Royal Marines. These are stories of courage, sacrifice, and hope. They are stories that need to be told.
I hope that this book will inspire you to learn more about the Royal Marines and the work that they do. I also hope that it will help you to understand the sacrifices that they make on our behalf.
